In fine Wheelman tradition a good turnout was experienced for the year's spring trash collection along State Route 65, aka River Road. The weather was unusually warm with little wind and no rain. Despite some confusion as to the orchestration of the pick-up procedure and what group is to start where, coordination prevailed and the Club's task was completed with aplomb and adroitness. However, to remedy a repeat of such tumultuous turmoil instructions for future tasks can be found here. The company of friends and cohorts made a beneficial task even more pleasant, and surprisingly the roadside was littered with less debris than what is usually found after the winter months. Following the clean-up the group made a late Breakfast Ride to Mama T's before returning to the Fort via Oak Openings and the North Branch of the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Special thanks to Frank Kistler for handling the logistics with ODOT for this year's collections!
